John Henry's Bait & Tackle

Following this text are some PICTURES of SUMMER of 2007...We are currently, as of 8/30/07, accross the street from the Greene Turtle West in West Ocean City, MD.  On Route 611 which is also known as Stephen Decatur Hwy. 

Effevtive 09/04/07 we will be in our new location.  We're movinng cat-a-corner to our present location, at the same intersection. We will be north of Sunset Ave. on Rt 611.  In the Sunset Business Park, between Hair 2000 & Ed Smith Real Estate School.  Our phone number will be the same, 410-213-9378 (WEST).

 We love this area and are very happy to find another store to relocate to without moving very far.  One reason we love it is that we don't want to move our store away from our customers & there's lots of fishing, clamming & crabbing in the area.  Rt 611 will take you to Assateague State and / or National Seashore.  One of my favorite things to do is to go clamming.   John Henry prefers fishing... There's also some good fishing and crabbing spots nearby.

We have a large assortment of Fish Bites.  Rods, reels, and tackle, rigs, live bait, fresh bait & frozen bait!  If there's an item that you're looking for, & we don't have it in stock, we'll try to locate it for you.

John Henry caught a 87 pound black drum the size of this carving, on 15 lb. test line using clam for bait!
